In order to make the experience more personal, we associate each pint of blood with an actual person. Donors receive a Memory Badge that bears the name of the person that their pint specifically remembers.

About Us
What started out as a conver-sation among friends, after a Tulare City Council Meeting,
has turned into an Award Winning event that unites the small town of Tulare, California and her surrounding communities.
Since 2007, local organizations and businesses have come together to host the Tulare 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive. The drive gives local people a chance to
honor victims of the September 11th attacks, by giving life for lives that were lost.
In the last four years, the Tulare 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive has seen more than 4000 pints donated to the Central California Blood Center. The event has also inspired more than 500 people to donate blood for the first time.
